As the year 2020 came to a close, convenience store applications on the Android platform saw varying levels of user engagement in Australia. This performance review, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower, offers a snapshot of the top 5 convenience store apps and their trends in the fourth quarter of the year.

My 7-Eleven experienced a notable increase in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 3.8K downloads and peaking at around 8.3K in early December. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, initially at approximately 62.6K and reaching a high of 67.6K in early November before slightly decreasing to around 55.2K by the end of December.

The OTR App - Coffee & Fuel Deals had a more modest presence, with downloads fluctuating over the quarter. The app saw around 385 downloads at the beginning of the period, with a peak at roughly 713 downloads mid-December. Active user data for OTR App was not provided.

7-Eleven Mobile Checkout maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, starting with nearly 200 downloads and reaching a peak of approximately 743 in mid-November. However, by the end of December, downloads had decreased to about 315. Active user data for this app was not available.

NightOwl Aus downloads remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase to 342 downloads mid-November and ending the quarter with about 265 downloads. Active user data for NightOwl Aus was not provided.

Lastly, 7-Eleven TH showed a gradual increase in downloads, from 65 in late September to a peak of 410 in the week leading up to Christmas. Weekly active users also saw growth, starting at just under 1K and reaching over 2.1K by the year's end.
